I believe good graphic design is universal, with both visual and language one contained within it. There are two key aspects to my design, cross-cultural conversation and humour. As a designer who is studying abroad, I have found design to be an effective medium to express my cross-cultural experience visually. but also a place that allows more cultural interaction though creativity. Another key element of my design work is a playful use of intelligent humour. Great design can show people a different perspective and can provide the joy and inclusion of discovery. It is important for me to make work that my audience enjoys and connects with because if they do, it means that my work is able to inspire and affect people.
